9 am – Assemble North Side šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énk Square/ Vancouver Art Gallery

10 am – Festive Parade to the Roundhouse Community Centre

11:30 am – 3:30 pm


MERRIT

Join the festive parade through Downtown Merritt celebrating Wild Salmon. This year’s theme is Water People/Qelmecwetkwe (like mermaids) so use your imagination. Come in regalia or colourful and lively expressions of our theme. Bring your flags, banners and salmon-themed art!

9:00 am – Assembling parade at Merritt Civic Centre

10:30 am – Parade begins via Voght St, to Princeton/Kamloops Hwy, BC 5A and Garcia, to Chapman
St. and Coutlee Ave

12:00 pm – Lunch on our own

1:00 pm – Return to Merritt Civic Centre

11 am Festive Public Parade to Chase Beach on Little Shuswap Lake

1-3 pm Feast & Caravan Program with creative Native performers & guest speakers
